CredAlt (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of healthcare providers and other users of our credential management platform (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, processing, sharing, and security of your information when you use our Platform and any related services (collectively the “Services”). - Professional Information: License numbers, DEA number, NPI number, specialty, work history, education, board certifications, professional references, insurance, claims and billing data.
- Other Information: Any other information you choose to provide to us, such as through communications or when submitting our “Contact Us” form.
- Payment Information: Billing name, address

We may collect information about you from the following third-party sources:
- Public Databases: We may collect information from publicly available databases, such as state licensing board websites and federal databases, to verify your credentials and keep your profile up-to-date.
- Usage and Automatically Collected Data:
When you use our Platform, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage patterns, including:
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and other technical identifiers.
- Log Data: Details of your visits to our Platform, including traffic data, location data, access times and other usage data.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to track activity on our Platform and to collect certain information for analytics purposes to enhance user experience and ease. You have choices in relation to how you use your device’s settings. However, blocking some types of cookies may impact how features operate on the platform itself

- To facilitate the credentialing process by verifying your credentials and sharing them with authorized entities as per your authorization only
- To enable secure, one time access to your information via sharing of a secure link.

- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- To send you updates about our Services, if you have opted in.
- To Improve Our Services:
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the functionality and user experience of our Platform.

- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, including those governing credentialing requirements.
- To maintain compliance within our own system, based on user type and requirements
- For Other Purposes with Your Consent: We will always make clear to users how collected data will be used when using any CredAlt products
Sharing of Your Information
We may share your information under these circumstances:
- With Your Consent: We will share your information with authorized healthcare organizations, payers, licensing boards, and other entities for credentialing purposes only with your explicit consent, through one time link that enables controlled access. This sharing only occurs when data access and visibility has been pre-authorized by the data controller through use of system protocols, for complete safety and peace of mind
- With Service Providers: We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Platform, such as data hosting providers, and data verification service providers. These third parties are contractually bound to maintain strict privacy, data integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and security standards with handling all information. We do not share this information outside of partners, nor sell any.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request, such as a subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety, property or rights of others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
Data Security
We implement and take very seriously appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

- Single Use Access Controls: Data access links shared with third party payers, or organizations are all managed under strict, provider authorized settings for a maximum of 4 hours and with settings determined ahead of time (such as for viewing, copying, modifying based on user setting
- Internal Measures: Regular security testing for potential vulnerabilities and to ensure safety of user data for internal access. This ensures user safety to the highest levels, at every phase of growth as part of CredAlt’s mission for a new kind of data interaction in the industry
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use every available process to protect your data – its absolute security cannot be guaranteed by any system. We will endeavor to constantly monitor all our systems to reduce risk whenever, and wherever, possible
Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your information:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: You may request that we delete your information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Data Control: You maintain full control over the sharing of your information through our Platform’s one time secure sharing link and all settings are set by you
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time.
